On Monday, 17 June, we invited the community to “Take a Walk on the Wild Side” – and you showed up in the most incredible way. Our very first Charity Walk was a beautiful, heartfelt success, and we are filled with gratitude for every step taken in support of rhino conservation.
We want to extend a massive thank you to every single person who joined us, whether you walked, donated, brought your family, or simply shared the event online. Your presence and support are what fuel the fire behind our mission at Insimbi Legacy Projects – to protect South Africa’s rhinos and preserve their legacy for generations to come.
The 3.8km walk was filled with smiles, laughter, and even some surprise sightings of wildlife along the way – zebra, springbuck, wildebeest, and ostriches reminded us exactly what we’re working so hard to protect.
This day would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the Insimbi team, our incredible event coordinators, marshals, and volunteers. You went above and beyond, ensuring a smooth, safe, and welcoming experience for all. Your energy and commitment were the heartbeat of this event.
We also want to give a special thank you to DL Accounting, who welcomed us and opened up their space for our event entrance. Your generosity made a huge difference.
Whether you came with your kids in prams, brought along your four-legged friends, or walked solo with purpose in your heart – you’ve made an impact. Every donation and every footstep brought us closer to our goals. We walk for the wild, and we walk stronger together.
