ABOUT US

From The Beginning

Insimbi Legacy Projects, a non profit company, was established in 2018 in the far North of the Limpopo Province in South Africa.

We endeavor to protect Ceratotherium Simum Simum (aka the White Rhinoceros) along with their habitat.

Our concerted conservation of the habitat also serves to protect other near-threatened species.

Insimbi Legacy Projects are the proud custodians of rhino in private ownership and are the last frontier in protecting this magnificent & iconic animal!

One Person's Passion

Carmela Lattanzi, the founder of Insimbi Legacy Projects, shared her passion for the conservation of Rhino and soon other like-minded individuals pledged their time and allegiance to ILP and the Insimbi Team came into being.

From being one person’s passion, Insimbi Legacy Projects grew to become renowned in Rhino Conservation circles and their presence
ensures the survival of not only the rhino, but also the other near threatened species in the area.

Why Your Support Matters

At Insimbi, we are on the frontlines of protecting one of Africa’s most iconic and endangered species: the rhino. These gentle giants, a symbol of strength and resilience, face relentless threats from poaching and habitat loss. Without external support, their future remains uncertain.

We receive no assistance or funding from the government. This makes every contribution from individuals and organizations critical to our mission. Your support directly empowers our anti-poaching unit, a dedicated team working around the clock to safeguard our rhinos from poachers.

In addition to protection, your contributions enable us to monitor our rhinos’ health and well-being. This includes providing veterinary assistance when needed and ensuring they have access to supplementary feed, such as grass bales, during the harsh dry winter months when natural forage is scarce.
